Responsibilities

• Ensure that team members are receiving appropriate coaching/development;
• Provide team members Company’s values of teamwork, accountability, customer centricity and empathy;
• Develop a financial business analysis;
• Manage and supervise the Finance and BI functions;
• Reactive to future opportunities and risk of the company’s financial position;
• Develop KPI and report on them on a regular basis;
• Assess, manage and mitigate risk for accounting issues and other requirements;
• Full cycle accounting;
• Process improvements – implementation of new systems;
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Prepare for external auditor financial statements, taxes, etc.
• Ad hoc tasks as required by the Senior VP, Finance and Sales Operations

Requirements

• BAA or CPA (Accounting Firm is an asset)
• Lead person on audit/tax process – strategic vision – build KPIs – financial modeling;
• Experience in manufacturing / distribution – managing multiple entities;
• Adapts quickly to change, team player and very flexible;
• Knowledge of Business Central and/or Navision a strong asset;
• Broad knowledge of accounting (PE GAAP / IFRS), financial analysis, full financial statement modelling) and Business Intelligence (BI) principles;
• Experience with new-ERP implementation would be a strong asset.
• Excellent communication skills
• Good sense of detail-oriented, with an ability to process data accurately;
• French and English speaking and writing.
