In this role, you will:

  • Oversee and manage the monthly deadlines.
  • Oversee and manage the AP function.
  • Reconcile Balance Sheet accounts for month end and year-end close.
  • Maintain GRNI/SRNI accounts.
  • Review and post journal entries.
  • Review and approve payment batches.
  • Process, post and/or review customer invoicing prior to submission.
  • Review and locking timecards in Ceridian DayForce.
  • Verify payroll and DayForce time and rates are consistent.
  • Review, process and post payroll journal entries.
  • Assist with weekly cash forecast.
  • Assist with monthly management reports.
  • Audit support as required.
  • Other duties as necessary

As our ideal candidate,

  • You hold a minimum of a Bachelors of Commerce with a focus in Accounting or combination of education and relevant experience.
  • You have a minimum 5 years’ experience as a Senior Accountant or similar.
  • Experience working a fast-paced, high volume, deadline- focused work environment is considered an asset
  • You have detail-oriented, have strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem resolution skills
  • You demonstrate excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and an ability to produce quality results in a timely manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • You are eligible for a Canadian Secret Security and ITAR Clearance
