Job description: Adecco is hiring for Finance Manager (permanent role) to join our client located in Mississauga, ON. This is a full cycle finance and accounting role, reporitng directing to senior leadership team across US, UK and Canada.

To qualify for this opportunity, you must have 5+ years of finance and accounting, in a manufacturing industry, combined with your CPA or CGA, strong ERP, M3 and Cognos system knowledge and be self driven.

Key responsibilities: * Manage the day to day operations of the Accounting Department

• Manage the month-end process from preparing journal entries, account reconciliations through preparing financial statements
• Prepare and present monthly reporting packages to the leadership teams
• Prepare annual budgets, monthly financial forecasts and actual performance analysis
• Monitor and maintain compliance with internal controls. Internal audit preparation.
• Execute full payroll cycle, benefits administration, company GRRSP and submission of payroll related government remittances
• Manage the acquisition of capital assets, recording, disposals and amortization schedules
• Finance support for business projects: product pricing, product costing analysis
• Product and customer profitability reporting and volume/mix analysis
• Prepare tax working papers for annual corporate tax returns, T106 forms, NR Tax annual filings.
• Manage bank accounts and maintain relations with bank

Qualifications and skills: * Professional accounting designation (CPA)

• Ability to work effectively on multiple tasks and meet a constant stream of deadlines
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Highly self-motivated, very organized and efficient
• ERP experience essential, M3 experience highly desirable
• Cognos experience desirable
• Advanced computer skills – especially Microsoft Excel
• Payroll knowledge essential
