Tasks:

– Review reports to analyze projections of sales and profits against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals, and suggest methods of improving the planning process
– Analyze company operations to pinpoint opportunities and areas that need to be reorganized, downsized or eliminated
– Confer with department heads to coordinate and prioritize planning
– Meet regularly with managers on deliverables, information and to offer direction
– Estimate requirements for capital and an increase in the workforce
– Supervise the monthly balance sheet analysis
– Set up monthly analysis of specific accounts to ensure accuracy of accounts
– Present the monthly results to the President with explanations for major variances

What you need to succeed in this role:

– University degree with a CPA designation
– Autonomy, attention to detail and team spirit
– Creativity and good communication skills
– Bilingualism with English reporting skills, French necessary
– Computer literacy (MS Office)
– Excellent sense of responsibility and analytical skills
