This position, reports directly to the Senior Manager, Finance Systems, is responsible for General Ledger, Data Relationship Management (DRM), Tableau Reporting, Chart of Accounts (SCOA) governance and bringing digital transformation in finance processes
The position requires daily interaction and cross-functional collaboration with controllers teams, business unit finance departments, internal IT, external consultants and internal/external auditors.
Responsibilities:
– Oracle EBIZ General Ledger – Responsible for governance of Standard Chart of Accounts (SCOA) – Ensure SCOA integrity, use and integration with other systems, ensure hierarchies are maintained accurately
– Responsible for Oracle General Ledger – interfaces with third party applications, mass allocation rules, cross validation and security rules, currency rates, calendar, recurring entries, and FSG reports
– Responsible for Oracle Data Relationship Management (DRM) – interface with GL, Essbase and BI, approval groups, workflows, audit history and trails
– Accountable for audit of the applications- provide data extracts for SOX financial report testing, provide auditors with report definitions, troubleshoot any discrepancies encountered/reported as a result of the SOX financial report testing, track all new reports or report changes and provide information to the SOX team, follow the change management process to promote reports into the Oracle production environment

Tableau Dashboards
– Responsible for creating new and maintain existing financial dashboards in Tableau – import, manipulate and prepare data in SAS Enterprise Guide and build meaningful dashboards in Tableau
– Leverage your understanding of systems, process, technology and programming to support quick implementation of data visualization tools such Tableau

Special Projects
– Develop and execute modernized processes and controls within the Finance department through directly collaborating with the executive finance leadership team
– Lead all fit-gap analysis and presentations for approval scoping out project deliverables through effective business partnering with team members from multiple departments
– Conduct workflow review, process redesign/reengineering, and deliver solutions for effective and efficient financial transaction processing and reporting
– Develop clear and concise presentations, materials and other collateral to support communication of initiatives to different levels of stakeholders, including senior management

Critical Skills and Qualifications:
– University degree in business with a concentration in finance, accounting or economics
– Accounting designation, or in progress of obtaining one is an asset (CA, CMA, CGA, CPA)
– 5+ years of experience with Oracle R12/Oracle ERP preferably with R2R/GL modules
– Strong proficiency with coding languages to extract and analyze data
– Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau and data manipulation tools such as SAS is required
– Experience with Oracle Data Relationship Management (DRM) tools is preferable
– Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) tools is preferable
– Familiarity with Oracle EPM applications specifically Essbase and Hyperion Planning
– Ability to effectively analyze and update requirements, including documentation and training materials
– Ability to lead design discussions with IT and business teams and communicate current application functionality and impact of design changes
– Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodology
– Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with, provide guidance to, and train a variety of different levels of employees.
– Must be able to present information to various levels and to communicate both user requirements and share technical knowledge.
– Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to identify and resolve issues in an efficient and effective manner
– Manage duties with minimal supervision demonstrating accountability, a strong sense of urgency and initiative in owning tasks to completion.
