Our client, a large company in the manufacturing sector, is looking for a Finance Manager. You will have high visibility and the opportunity to increase your responsibilities as the team grows. Given the multi-faceted nature of the role and access to executive leadership, we are looking for someone who has both strong accounting skills, and people management skills, communication skills and a commitment to continuous learning.

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limed to the following:

• Supervise an accounting team
• Coordinate, supervise and participate in the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports and ensure compliance of financial information from the divisions;
• Coordinate and participate in the preparation of corporate reports required by senior management,
• Prepare the audit file and assist the Finance Director in responding to requests from the external auditors;
• Participate in the improvement of processes, including the implementation of SAP
• Other responsibilities

Qualifications

• Accounting experience in a large public company
• Knowledge of SAP (Asset)
• Leadership skills and ability to function successfully in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to juggle, prioritize and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Word) required.

Personal Qualities:

• Strong verbal & written communication skills, experience presenting to senior executives
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management & organizational skills
• Proven attention to detail with a desire for accuracy
