Location: Longueuil
Salary: $90,000 to $95,000 per year

Tasks:
– Direct the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and reports to shareholders
– Review reports to analyze projections of sales and profits against actual figures, budgeted expenses against final totals, and suggest methods of improving the planning process
– Analyze company operations to pinpoint opportunities and areas that need to be reorganized, downsized, or eliminated
– Confer with department heads to coordinate and prioritize planning
– Meet regularly with managers on deliverables and information, and to offer direction
– Estimate requirements for capital and an increase in the workforce
– Supervise the preparation of monthly and year-end schedules
– Supervise the preparation of monthly financial statements
– Supervise the monthly balance sheet analysis
– Set up monthly analysis of specific accounts to ensure accuracy of accounts
– Present the monthly results to the President with explanations for major variances
What you need to succeed in this role:
– University degree with a CPA designation
– Autonomy, attention to detail, and team spirit
– Creativity and good communication skills
– Bilingualism, with English reporting skills
– Computer literacy (MS Office)
– Excellent sense of responsibility and analytical skills
