About the Opportunity

Our national client located in Ottawa west is looking for a Finance Manager to join their dynamic, growing team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Management of General Ledger and related accounting duties
• Oversee and provide support to accounting team
• Financial reporting and production of financial statements- prepare monthly, quarterly and annual results including Income Statements, P&L, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Management, ensure accuracy of preparation of Financials
• Submission of tax remittances
• Assisting in the coordination and preparation of budget and financial forecasts and analyze report variances; institute and maintain planning and control procedures
• Preparing Month and Year End close
• Liaising with auditors, take an active role in internal and external Audit, providing required reporting
• Ensuring compliance as well as implementation of policies and procedures, monitoring for accurate and successful execution
• Participate in other active projects and ad hoc reporting as needed

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Active CPA Designation in Good Standing
• 2+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance
• Previous experience with management and/or mentorship preferred
• Strong oral, written, and communication skills (English essential)
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Highly organized, strong attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, collaborative
