Job description: Our client, a highly esteemed Vancouver law firm, is actively seeking a professional and career-minded Finance Manager to join their management team. This company employs some of the most dynamic, passionate and professional individuals you’ll ever meet; people who truly love what they do and care about the organization. As the chosen candidate, you will possess in-depth knowledge of accounting standards, an eye for detail, as well as excellent communication skills. You will report to the Managing Partner.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in accounting paired with previous leadership experience.
• Accountant designation (CPA or CGA preferred).
• Experience in a professional services environment will be considered a strong asset.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills. Experience with PC Law will be considered a strong asset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and provide leadership to the firm on financial issues.
• Work with Management in helping to create strategic plans for firm.
• Oversee A/P, A/R, Payroll, general accounting and Trust accounting
