Job Description

American Iron Metal (AiM) is hiring a Finance Systems Administrator. As a global leader in the metal recycling industry, AIM is your eco-friendly, long-term partner for disposing efficiently of metals, end-of-life vehicles, and construction waste, and for professionally handling demolition and decommissioning projects. AiM also offers the most innovative and reliable product solutions available to the electronics industry. The Finance System Administrator will work as a member of the finance team and will play an integral part in maintaining, configuring and improving the organization’s ERP system. AiM is currently configuring their legacy systems and the Finance System Administrator will be responsible for the configuration and improvement of these systems. Other duties and responsibilities include:

• Manage the finance organizational chart and resource hierarchy within the ERP system
• Coordinates efforts and priorities with those of ERP implementation team
• Executes system related changes associated with implementation of ERP functionalities.
• Participate in the development of controls and governance which will administer changes to organizational information within the ERP system.
• Develops continuous improvement opportunities and requirements
• Oversee creation, deletion, and modification of elements in the chart of accounts.
• Manage security roles of users and the allocation of security privileges between groups.
• Participate in the development and publishing of financial reports
• Engages the organization’s product users for feedback
• Responsible for GL Creation·
• Responsible for monthly receipt close
• Acts as a fully integrated team member.

Qualifications

In order to be successful in this role, we are seeking a professional with the following qualifications:

• Must be bilingual (French and English). Will be asked to complete a French language verbal interview
• BA/BS degree or pertinent accounting related certificate
• Accounting experience
• 1+ years of experience in business and/or systems role
• Experience with Microsoft D365 ERP is considered to be an asset
• Experience with systems implementation, configuration and maintenance
• A team player who works well with others
• Comfortable working with large subsets of data. Reviewing, managing and configuring large subsets of data
• Expertise in information security
• Reliable, dedicated professional seeking long term career growth
