You will be supporting IFRS17/Fusion and Finance Data delivery roadmaps, and maturing into the de facto target operating model, work is non-routine and highly complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills. You are an astute, hands-on Finance Systems Integration Specialist with Oracle Fusion expertise and passion to solve difficult problems in distributed, highly available services and virtualized infrastructure. You must balance between solution feature development and production operational concerns like scripting run books, ops automation, structured logging, leveraging internal tooling. You will have strong Financial Services (preferably Insurance industry) knowledge and be comfortable navigating ledgers and operating statements and be intimately familiar with Oracle Fusion modules (AP, iExpense, Cash Management, GL, etc.) along with solid implementation/migration experience.Role 2. You are a smart, practical Finance Systems Integration Engineer specializing in Financial data with deep knowledge of AWS Cloud and PostgreSQL – able to translate compute, ETL storage, networking, database, security, and an ever-expanding set of cloud-based services and functionality into Finance solutions. You will be in the forefront of leading the effort to build distributed, scalable, fault-tolerant systems in support of our business needs and end customers. To be able to successfully migrate existing legacy systems to new platforms you are going to have solid understanding of Java and JVM mechanics. You will have Financial Services (preferably Insurance industry) knowledge and be comfortable navigating ledgers and operating statements.Other Accountabilities Include:Understand the relationship between data and business outcomes and can focus on long term strategies for dataIdentify any gaps in the business requirement and assist Business Analyst to rectify the gapsImprove Informatica ETL performance for Accounting Engine and enterprise data warehouse system to shorten batch run completion time. Performance improvement from better table/index design and ETL code design.Strong Finance/ERP/Database skillsUse appropriate ETL tools (listed below) to facilitate efficient data transformationProficient reporting against Oracle Financial GL as needed.Solid understanding in Qlik reporting.
