Job description: Our client in the manufacturing industry in the Midland, ON area is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will support the accounting and financial team with month-ends, general ledger account reconciliations, cost invoicing and AP support. If you have experience managing a ledger and financial reporting in a manufacturing environment, then read on!

What’s the Job?

• support monthly close process: journal entries, month-end, reconciliations and analysis
• assist with internal/external audit requests; support internal controls
• prepare/post journal entries; monthly account reconciliations
• compliance checking on various business contracts; expense report approvals
• monthly invoicing for incurred project costs

What’s Needed?

• 2-4 years of financial analysis experience in a fast-paced accounting environment
• basic GAAP knowledge
• strong EXCEL skills (pivots, advanced logic formulas)
• month-end experience
• University or College degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or business related field
• ability to clear a government clearance background check process
