Job title: Financial Analyst (Full-Time)

Job description: As a Financial Analyst, you will be assisting the Manager of Finance, working with the Corporate Accounting team.

Our ideal candidate possesses the following qualifications & skills:

• Bachelor or Diploma in Commerce, Accounting or equivalent experience.
• Enrolled in a professional accounting program is an asset
• Previous analytical, forecasting, reporting and project support is required.
• Previous accounting and advanced level computer system use required.
• Advanced Excel skills – PivotTables, VLookup is Required
• Experience with day-to-day financial activities to ensure compliance with established guidelines and processes.
• Support the development and implementation of a collaborative and streamlined approach to financial management to ensure controllership and accountability.
• Experience with selection, implementation, development, and use of computerized accounting, spreadsheet, word processing and database systems
• Knowledge of Provincial and Federal Tax, Housing and Care legislation affecting the operations of Ontario based Canadian not-for-Profit organizations and charities providing care, accommodation and associated services to seniors is an asset.
• Excellent oral and written command of the English language.
