Job description: We are looking for a passionate Floor Supervisor to join our team!

Dublin Calling channels party vibes with ping pong, darts, skeeball and live music. Think of it as somewhere you can stop by for an after-work drink, catch any sports game on over 30+ big screen TVs, indulge in a menu filled with tasty pub grub, or even crush a night of trivia. Our team is passionate about sports, good times and creating a fun atmosphere for our guests. Open 7 days a week, featuring Vancouver’s best happy hour.

Responsibilities:

  • Completes daily responsibilities ensures that proper opening and closing procedures are followed so business operations are successfully set up and completed
  • Participates in team service, and will be required to own a section or station during low volume periods
  • Will be scheduled to work at any of our regional venues at our downtown locations
  • Runs daily shift, role modeling MRG standards and operating practices
  • Leads by example and demonstrates passion for guest experience and strong desire to create Positive Shareable Experiences
  • Follow MRG’s operational policies and procedures, to ensure safety of employees and guests during each shift
  • Assists with guest issues and escalates as required
  • Ensure all staff are in their uniforms and on the floor by scheduled time
  • Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments and always looking for new easy of creating positive shareable experiences for colleagues and guests
  • Supports employee onboarding and venue training
  • Provides feedback to leadership team of employees shift performance and improvements to be made within an efficient operation
  • Support with stocking and receiving of goods
  • Assist with corporate & local sales & marketing programs and activations
  • Provides feedback to leadership team on product consistency
  • Flag any maintenance and repairs of equipment and services
  • Completes end of shift reporting
  • Monitors proper staffing levels to drive efficient service
  • Lead projects and/or tasks as assigned

Must-haves:

  • Minimum 1 years experience as a Shift Leader/Key Holder /Supervisory role
  • Experience in Hospitality /Food and Beverage required
  • Experience using software systems including Square, 7Rooms (training provided)
  • A passion for positive experiences and exceeding customer expectations
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Trustworthy to always do the right thing
  • Effective communicator with a Positive and forward-thinking attitude
  • Works collaboratively to help our team achieve its goals
  • Strong troubleshooter with the ability to see challenges and provide creative solutions and recommendations
  • Required certifications to responsibly serve alcohol (specific to your province)
  • Basic First Aid considered an asset

Keeping Safe:

  • We will provide you with all the personal protective equipment- masks and sanitizers
  • All colleagues will be required to attend a COVID-19 specific Health & Safety training session before attending their first shift
  • Mandatory social distancing measures at our venues and compliance with local government regulations

Schedule: Full-time (Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays)
