Job description:
Your responsabilities:
Gather, consolidate, and analyze operating and financial results for five reporting structures, including preparing internal and external reporting deliverables, analyzing trends & drivers, and explaining forecast vs. actual variances
Part of the financial planning liaisons with Parent Company in Europe
Review monthly financial statements (for internal purposes)
Perform various financial analyses and analytical reviews
Review business analyses for Executives (Sales & Ops)
Monitor and interpret final results of financial data against budget, performing variance analysis, and provide financial analysis to support management decision making
Participate in quarterly forecast and budget planning cycles, including coordinating with all stakeholders, providing corporate inputs, and preparing relevant deliverables
Participate in the elaboration of key assumptions
Plan and coordinate with multiple departments the collection of information in a timely manner
Reviews and analyses
Help Identify initiatives to continuously improve, automate and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies
Treatment of financial data
Perform various analyses
Optimize the gathering and treatment of the financial data
Develop, standardize financial templates
Participating in the transformation of management reporting and analytics to create views for increased profitability
Work with the Manager on various analyses and mandates.
Profile description:
Qualifications :
Professional designation (CPA or CFA)
Minimum 5 years related experience
Bilingual (French & English)
Experience working for a large company (manufacturing sector an asset), foreign currency transactions, inter-company accounting and matrix structure
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel (advanced level)
Experience working with ERP and BI systems (IBM-TM1, Power BI, Tableaux) will be considered an strong asset
Work experience: 2-3 years
