Finance Analyst FP&A – Danone Canada
In this position, you will assume the following responsibilities:
Mission:
Reporting to the Finance Director FP&A, the financial analyst FP&A is responsible for building the Profit & Loss statement (P&L) of our monthly forecasting review cycle and ensuring the quality of financial information in our decision-making system and optimizing its use, and analyzing and forecasting our free cash flow.
More specifically:
- Prepare the Profit & Loss statement (P&L) of our monthly forecast review cycle of our sales and operation planning (S&OP) by consolidating the data
- Perform month-end closing and ensure accurate, complete and timely forecasts and financial reports
- Animate month end presentation
- Be the main finance contact regarding improvements to decision-making tools
- Responsible for the developments and updates of our decision-making tools.
- Responsible to track financial risks and opportunities.
- Responsible for contracting variance analyses
- Responsible for building our Free Cash Flow projections and animating the action plan
The ideal applicant will possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting
- CPA license is preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of financial analysis experience
- Excellent command of Excel (Power Query, etc.)
- Knowledge of information systems (ERP, SAP a plus),
- Ability to develop or improve dashboards / performance indicators (KPI)
- Bilingual (French and English) written and spoken
- Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize
- Accuracy and thoroughness.
