Job title: FUNCTIONAL ANALYST – IT

Job description:

• Collect functional application requirements from product managers and customers
• Offer solutions that take into account business needs, architecture, existing applications, their costs, and their impacts on customers and processes
• Write functional specifications (mainly in Jira and Confluence tools)
• Define user interface (UI) and workflows
• Define REST calls according to established standards
• Write the functional test books
• Ensure that the business needs and functional needs expressed are in line with requests and expectations
• Follow up with developers
• Follow up on quality control
• Communicate functional changes to the technical writer so that she can update the user manual and include the changes in the release notes
• DEC or a bachelor’s degree in computer science
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a similar position
• Experience with Agile and Scrum methods
• Mastery of object-oriented programming concepts
• Experience with REST architecture
• Experience in reading source code (PHP, JavaScript, HTML, etc.)
• Experience with SQL databases
• Experience with documentation tools (Confluence, Jira)
• Bilingual (English, French)
