Our client in Hamilton is actively looking for General Accountant to join their team.
Title: General Accountant.
Location: Hamilton, ON
Length of Assignment: Temporary.
Salary: $25/hr.
Job Description:
Description –
- Assisting in the preparation of account reconciliations, month end processing, preparing general ledger.
- Preparing financial reports, expense reports and maintaining the accounts.
- Posting the journal entries.
- Maintaining all the information accurately.
- Assisting with the internal and external audit.
Requirements
- Minimum 3-5 years of accounting or audit experience.
- CPA designation (or in final stages of program) and experience working with Meditech is an asset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced level in Excel (Vlookup / Pivot Table).
- Be a team member, motivated, open to learn and flexible to go extra mile if and when needed.
- Organized with works, flexible with changes, excellent written and oral communication skills.
