The Opportunity

Position: General Contractor

Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Route Service / General Contractor Representative will be responsible for an assigned territory to manage each month. You will be responsible for assessing job requirements; determining the labour and equipment required to ensure success. As you will also be the lead for a project, you will be responsible for ensuring the project is completed on time and properly. The goal of this position is to slowly transition to a Bird and Wildlife Technician after obtaining hands-on experience in the pest control field.

Goal position: Bird and Wildlife Technician

You will provide inspections and treatments to a variety of business ranging from restaurants, food plants, warehousing to office buildings and residential homes. The duties for the role would include installation of Bird Barrier bird deterrent products(netting/ Gridwire); removal of small animals such as squirrels, raccoons, possums, etc.; identification of bird control issues; installation of one way doors and permanent exclusion techniques. You will also be required to build new business through sales. High commissions are paid on new business, and bonus money is paid each month on service work completed.

Operating out of the Toronto Branch, the position is provided a company truck, salary, commission, and a great future.

Requirement:

– G Driver’s License

– Your own tools

-knowledge of carpentry and other building skills

– Previous roofing experience

– Exclusion/General Maintenance Experience
