Job description: Are you looking to join a successful real estate team? Are you hungry for work? We are a full-service real estate team, looking for a reliable, Part Time/Occasional Labor/Driver to join our crew.

Our Team takes a hand’s on approach to selling homes. Our Staging Team helps Home sellers maximize their home’s appeal by thinning out existing furniture, bringing in furniture/artwork/accessories. We also assist clients by removal of any garbage, items for donation, or items to be placed in storage. Our labor team-members are expected to be respectful, punctual and possess a passion for helping people. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license with more than 7 years of driving experience.

The hours in this role vary from 5-15 hours per week. When shifts are required, a message is sent out to our labor pool, and if a member is able to take the shift the hours are awarded. This role offers great flexibility and can complement other jobs or commitments. All successful candidates will be required to undergo background checks before offer acceptance.

Our head office is in Unionville, work will not be limited to Markham area only. You may be required to travel (with use of our moving truck) to surrounding areas in the GTA. We specialize in Markham, Stouffville, Richmond Hill, Whitby, Pickering areas.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Design Lead with staging – loading and unloading furniture, accessories, and artwork
• Assist clients with moving/rearranging furniture and other household items (as needed) at their homes
• Organize and maintain our furniture warehouse on an ongoing basis
• Assist in junk removal (helping move clients garbage from their house)
• Driving our 16-foot cube van on a regular basis (Drivers License required with clean history and minimum of 7 years)
• Assist in client/community events (setting up promotional materials)
• Any other tasks that may be required (ad-hoc basis)

Qualifications:

• Lifting is required (up to 100 lbs), including heavy furniture, fragile/personal items, etc.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License with good driving record and 7 years of driving experience
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a reliable team player
