Position: General Laborer

Location: Monquart, NB

McCain Farms is currently seeking temporary seasonal General Laborers. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing support to the operation functions, while always ensuring a safe work environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for post-secondary students or anyone looking for temporary seasonal work.

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

• Foster a safe work environment and promote continuous improvement initiatives related to workplace safety.
• Must work with a strong sense of urgency.
• Able to work weekends and extended hours during the busy season
• Willing and capable of doing physical labor outdoors in varying weather conditions as required.
• Capable of working in dusty environments
• Working in a fast-paced team environment
• Participate in Team meetings, as required.
• All additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to safely lift/carry approximately 50 lbs
• Team player with excellent attendance
• Highly motivated, observant with good initiative and a positive attitude.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment adapting to and embracing change as it occurs.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must possess a good safety record and demonstrate “safety first” on a continual basis.
