Formed in 2012, Juniper Organics Limited produces professional peat and mixes for retail markets as well as growing media and mixes for professional growers of horticultural and agricultural products. Like so many of our customers, our team in Juniper, NB is growing, and we are seeking General Labourers to join our team.
The General Labourers will report to the lead hand of the night shift. This position will be responsible for performing various tasks on site to aid daily operations. These tasks include cleaning and maintaining the production floor, assisting with yard maintenance, and carrying out responsibilities set by the night shift lead hand. This position will offer the ability to cross-train and provide vacation and absence relief on production lines.
Responsibilities Include:
- This is a site wide position, working in a variety of areas
- Clean and maintain the production floor
- Assist with yard and lawn maintenance
- Lift and move raw materials and additives on the mix line
- Other general labourer responsibilities
Qualifications:
- High School or Trade Certification considered an asset
- Previous experience as a general labourer considered an asset
- Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work night shift is required
