We are looking for General Labourers who have past and current experience in the Construction industry, and experience Working at Heights and on Elevated Work Platforms. The client we are working with is within the construction field in the Hamilton, Ontario area and typically their work is completed using a swing stage or elevated work platform and will require applicants to follow a high safety standard. Projects require laborer to work at heights If you have completed any of the following training and a valid training certificate, they will be given preference:

Following skills are an asset to have for the ideal candidate:

• Coating Application

• Concrete repair and/or forming

• Drywall skills – install/tape/mud/sand

• Tiling skills – install wall or floor tiles and grout

• Flooring skills – able to install laminate/vinyl or hardwood flooring

• Kitchen or bathroom lower and upper cabinet installation skills.

• Skills to cut crown molding/casings and baseboards

• Understand level, square and plumb

• Keep work area clean and work in a safe manner

• Plumbing or electrical licenses with all these other skills certainly a bonus for employment and higher wage

Job Duties:

• Unload tools, prepare site materials, and set up equipment

• Follow project instructions from the construction manager or supervisor

• Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks

• Assist in building scaffolding and temporary structures

• Assist in Concrete Forming

• Safely operate various tools, including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, saws, and grinders.

• Clean and clear debris

• Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly

Relevant Experience:

• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds

• Must be comfortable climbing up tall ladders, working at elevated levels

• Positive attitude and work ethic

• Able to work independently or as an active member of a team

• Ability to work in all weather conditions

Wage – 20- 25/h based on Experience.
