JOB DESCRIPTION:
Fast-paced and refrigerated environment
Lift and pack raw meat products
Prepare and put components onto the denester
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Comfortable with repetitive work
Lifting light packaged products up to 25lbs
Prolonged standing
LOCATION: Speedvale Avenue West, Guelph, Ontario
SHIFT SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday
Mornings: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Afternoons: 3:15 PM – 11:45 PM
PAY:
$16.91/hr
35 cent premium on afternoons

Responsibilities
As a General Labour you will be-
- Put empty trays into the denester and place appropriate quantities of components into the trays.
- Rotate competently within all positions of the work cell
- Recognize and troubleshoot mechanical and production issues and communicate problems to lead hand, supervisor and/or maintenance
- Visual quality checks of product against customer and internal specifications
- Ability to maintain cleanliness of areas of responsibility
Qualifications
You must be-
- Comfortable working with raw meat products
- Comfortable working in cold environment (+4 degrees)
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Able to read, write and communicate in English
