AppleOne is currently recruiting General Labour / Industrial Cleaners for our client in Hamilton!

Role details
Pay: $19.00/hour – $2.00 shift premium added when working nights
Shift: work is performed primarily on the day shift, including weekends but may include nights and afternoons

Job Duties
– Perform industrial cleaning using Hot Wash, High Pressure, and Vac Truck
– Lift up to 50lbs to set up and control hoses, and to shovel waste material when required
– Represent the Company by providing professional customer service
– Participate in monthly safety meetings, identify, and report all workplace injuries, incidents, and potential hazards immediately to your supervisor
– Attend safety meetings and tool box talks
– Participate in all work-related tasks as assigned by your supervisor at a variety of locations in a safe and effective manner
– Adhere to all Environmental and Health and Safety policies and procedures
– Perform general housekeeping on a daily basis
– Provide input and recommendations to the management team to improve policies and procedures

Job Requirements:
– Must have strong verbal and written communication skills to be able to interact with peers and customers
– Health and Safety mindset
– Positive demeanor and customer service focused
– Ability to follow directions and instructions
– Must be comfortable with environmental conditions such hot and cold temperatures, work areas that are dirty, dusty, wet and noisy, and areas with frequent vibration
