Job description: We are looking for Printing Production Helpers in Mississauaga.

This is for a company in Mississauga that makes cardboard boxes. (Pizza boxes, packaging boxes, and a whole lot more!)

Position: Printing Production Helpers
Location: American Drive (Near Airport Road)

Salary: $20.51

Shift Schedule:
Monday – Thursday 7:30 am to 3:00 pm

Friday 7:30 am to 12:30 pm

Work Environment: Plant environment with exposure to minor dust, chemicals, fumes, and noise (hearing protection required). Standing and walking 100% of the shift on a concrete floor.

Responsibilities
Reading production docket for any special instructions
Verifying information on the docket and preparing case labels
Handling of 28 x 40” press sheets.
Inspecting printed sheets for creases and other print defects.
Operating a jogging table, which jogs and weighs lifts of paper.
Purging bad sheets.
Complying with all safety policies and procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and quality procedures
Assisting with the general maintenance and housekeeping of the department

Qualifications
High school diploma
Previous work in a manufacturing environment – 2 years preferred
Good attention to detail
Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 lbs, bending, walking and standing
Good communication skills
Basic computer skills
