Job description: A Goodwill Partner Employer is seeking qualified candidates to fill an open General Labourer position
Position Details:
Knowledge of appropriate building materials, construction methods, operating power tools and equipment for various assembly processes
High noise levels and repetitive work
Ability to work in changing outdoor weather conditions including heat, cold, rain, dust, and humidity
Ability to perform strenuous physical labour, lifting, moving, or manipulating objects weighing minimum 60lbs
Lubricate, clean, maintain, machinery, equipment, and tools
Position and install parts, subassemblies, and accessories using hand tools, power tools, power tools, and materials such as saws, drills, and sanders
Operate fork-lift to relocate skids, raw materials, and finished goods to organize shop and yard
Prepare skids for shipment
Mark, record, and report defective products
Assist welders, carpenters, or other tradespeople on-site
Maintain a clean working area free from dirt and debris between tasks and at end of day
