Job description: We are assisting one of our clients located in Nepean (near Prince of Wales) in finding an experienced and qualified General Labourer who will assist the Machine Operator in handling material within the facility. You will be handling tiles, slabs of stone, and granite
Rate is 18-19 an hour
Your shift can fall in between 7:00 am – 5:30 pm Monday – Friday …
This role starts as a contract worker with the opportunity for permanency depending on your performance and the business need

Responsibilities
-Setting up and operating CNC machinery
-Loading and unloading machines
-Maintains specifications needed by the machine operator, taking measurements; drilling, and shaping the material
– Seeing any malfunction and ensuring that the quality of the material is up to the companies standards.
-Moving slabs of stone and material from one area to another using the proper equipment onsite
-Ensuring that their workspace is clean and well kept
-Picking, shipping, and receiving orders and materials when needed
Qualifications
– The chosen candidate must be comfortable lifting heavyweight
– Must be open to consistent movements, walking around and standing for long hours
– Must have experience working with Machines, tools, and equipment
– Must be comfortable working on a production floor or a machine shop
– Open to working with a smaller team
