Bureau Veritas is actively hiring for multiple openings and we’d love for you to join us!
General Labourer – you will ensure samples can be traced to their storage location, ensure samples (requiring additional analysis or rework) are delivered to the appropriate group, ensure storage locations (walk-in coolers and seacans) are properly maintained. You could also work on grinding samples and general cleaning of laboratory equipment.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Education
- Previous experience in a general labour type role an asset
- Long periods of standing will be required for this role
- Involves in working in a noisy and dusty environment; necessary PPE will be provided
- Must be comfortable with repetitive tasks in a high volume & fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communicaiton skills
- Ability to handle weights of 20-50 lbs for prolonged periods
- Great attitude and an open and inclusive mindset
