THE OPPORTUNITY

Slegg Building Materials is currently seeking a Full-Time General Labourer to join our team. The shifts are Monday – Friday. The wage range is $16 – $19 per hour, based on experience, with benefits starting after 3 months.

THE LOCATION – Comox

Comox is a small town located on the eastern coast of Vancouver Island. It’s easy to enjoy this little town with walks on the beach, hiking or skiing in the mountains and scenic biking throughout the valley. Close to all amenities and supporting local.

Slegg Comox provides personal customer service with just 17 helpful staff members, all focused on providing superior customer service from start to finish, ensuring a positive shopping experience for every customer. THE RESPONSIBILITIES

• General housekeeping duties, stocking of merchandise or various yard and warehouse tasks are as required or directed by management
• Stacking or sorting of lumber
• Weekly inventory
• Superior Customer Service
• Practice and promote workplace safety standards
• Specific ownership and accountability for a designated Yard section
• Flexible work hours with weekend availability
• Physically demanding
• Locking up procedures on closing shifts

THE REQUIREMENTS

• A broad knowledge of building supplies
• Valid class 5 Driver’s licence is an asset
• Forklift experience considered beneficial
• A positive can do attitude is essential!
