At a manufacturing plant in Princeton, Ontario, you will be joining a team of production employees to work in both the steel wall panel production plant and the steel deck and steel joist plant. Employees need to be able to work in small teams in a fast-paced environment. The positions entail the fabrication of light steel wall panels during the various stages of fabrication – framing – sheathing and screwing as well as the fabrication and handling of steel joists and deck.

Job Title: General Labourer/Construction labourer
Location: Princeton, Ontario
Shift: Afternoons
Hours: 7 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, 7 am to 2:30 pm on Fridays
Starting pay rate: $20/hour

What will you be doing?
-Working in the shop manufacturing joists and frames for buildings
-Hand and power tools, MIG, spot welding
-Putting up wall panels and spreading joists

Qualifications
Who are we looking for?

  • Previous experience working in a general labour role
  • Previous construction and production experience is an asset but not necessary as training will be provided for all aspects of production.
