Job title: General Labourer- Afternoon Shift

Job description: Do you have an eye for detail and previous warehouse experience? We are currently recruiting for bulk packagers to work at our client – Canada’s largest sporting goods distributor. You will be working in the distribution warehouse for Western Canada as part of a dynamic and fast moving team in an on-going contract role.

Description …

– Using tools such as boxes, Purolator bags, pallet jacks etc.
– Receiving, packaging, labelling, and building pallets of bulk products
– Responsible for any additional duties given to you by your supervisor
– May be moved to another department if your department is slow.

Environment
– Casual work gear with Steel Toes
– Moderate to Fast paced work
– Working in teams of 15-20 people

Responsibilities

• Manually building pallets or breaking down pallets when needed
• Communicating with the team throughout the warehouse
• Replenishing stock into the racking system
• Assisting in overall warehouse cleanliness
• Must be comfortable and ready to assist other departments with general labor or other tasks required

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months warehouse experience
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly
• You must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment
• You must be comfortable with heights
• A strong team player who with the willingness to always get the job done
