Short Description

We are looking for hard working and driven individuals to start (depending on experience) as a general laborer that can grow into the following positions with increased pay: assemblers, installers, lead hand, and a foreman. Advancements achievable based on your willingness to learn and apply your skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment
• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Assembly and package shipments
• Marking and labeling stock
• Storing inventory in accessible manner
• Loading and wrapping stock on pallets 2 years of experience as a labourer in a manufacturing environment• Carry heavy items. Up to 50lbs
• Lift heavy items. Up to 50 lbs
• Deal with coworkers.
• Operate tools and equipment

Requirements

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 lbs etc.)
• Familiarity with power tools and measuring tape
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety rules
• Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office
• Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment physical, and background check
• Forklift and machine operation experience would be considered an asset
• Manufacturing experience a plus but not required
• Welding experience a plus but not required
• Good attention to detail
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
