Job Description

Waste Connections is looking for a General Labourer to join our team at our Hamilton District to work at our Transfer station in Hamilton, ON. This is an entry level full time position with a reputable company. The days of the week are subject to business needs. Verify and maintain records on incoming and outgoing shipments.

Location: 460 Kenora Street, Hamilton, ON and 37 Kilbride Rd, Hamilton ON

Pay rate: $16.81 per hour

Hours: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm straight days, 40 hours per week and some overtime available.

Responsibilities Include:

• Directing traffic onsite
• Guiding the general public and offering direction
• Keeping the area clean
• Some sorting of materials

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of general Labour work experience
• The ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to work in all weather conditions throughout entire shift
• Be able to pass our background checks (Drug and Criminal check)
