About Our Client
Our international client is about to open a brand-new warehouse facility in Richmond. They have over 10 million square feet of warehouse space all over the world and they are opening their first warehouse in Western Canada. Our client provides cross-border e-commerce storage and aid in logistics for businesses. There are great opportunities for anyone starting out. Although, the positions are entry-level, there are infinite possibilities for to quickly move up in the company and even transfer to warehouses in other countries.

About Our Opportunity
This is a temporary to permanent full-time or part-time opportunity; anytime 24/7. The client needs to staff an entire warehouse and schedules will vary. You can choose when you work based on your preferences and schedule in the AmbiMi App. As the General Labourer/Warehouse Associate, your responsibilities may include:

• Receiving items
• Unloading truck shipments and palletizing/organizing into warehouse areas
• Stowing items into bins
• Locating and pulling items for shipment
• Shipping items
• Assisting in inventory counts

The Requirements

• Currently resides in Canada
• Legally able to work in Canada
• Must be willing to commute to Richmond
• Access to a device that is compatible with/supports app downloads
• Fluent in English
• Grade 12 or equivalent, with basic math understanding and written and verbal communications skills
• Adhering to all safety and equipment regulations, and maintaining a clean work environment
• Able to lift up to 50lbs/22kgs on a possible regular basis
• Can operate pallet jacks (manual and/or electric)
• Familiar with computer software
• Have R.F. gun/scanner experience for Warehouse Management System
• Can operate a forklift safely is an asset
• Able to work independently and in a team to successfully accomplish tasks with minimal supervision
• Have personal protective equipment

Compensation
$16-18/hour
