Since opening in 2015, MeeT has grown quickly to three busy locations, each garnering praise and awards including Best Neighborhood Restaurants in Yaletown / Gastown / and Main St in Vancouver (and now Victoria!), as well as Best Vegan Restaurant in Vancouver (2019- 2021 Georgia Straight Golden Plates).

Our mission is to bring plant-based comfort food to the masses, welcoming vegans and non-vegans alike with food that appeals to everyone! All in a setting that is inclusive, inviting and comfortable. Our committed-to plan is to bring our award winning dishes to cities across the country and beyond. Beyond opening new locations, we have been developing our retail business and aspire to bring our famous sauces to grocery stores nation-wide.

Our GM’s pour their heart into the business to ensure that guests receive the best possible experience and that staff are motivated and inspired to be their best selves. The GMs work directly with the Operations Manager and Ownership TeeM to ensure their houses are executing MeeT’s guiding principles. They solve problems, connect with the community, and strive for continuous improvement.

What Life at MeeT is Like:

• Training for this position includes 8-10 weeks in our Vancouver locations! (Housing and meal allowance provided)

• We offer comprehensive onboarding training, with a passionate, dedicated ownership and operations TeeM, each with decades of experience and success in the industry that are here to support and mentor you.
• We work diligently with our GMs to ensure they are educated and effective in the financial performance of their business. We want to see our management TeeMs hit every bonus program target, and become well-rounded hospitality management professionals.
• We are committed to continuous improvement. Our GMs are invited and welcome to share their views, best practices and to test ideas that will improve the performance of the business and the employment experience of everyone in it.

What We Offer:

Compensation Breakdown:

• Base salary is $60,000 – $70,000 depending on experience and performance.
• Bonus program amounts to $10,000 – $15,000 per year depending on the financial performance of the business. Results are rewarded.
• Our posted compensation range at minimum includes salary, with the maximum including full salary potential + bonus.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of general management experience in a high volume full-service restaurant.
• Warm, friendly, focused, professional, inclusive disposition and presence.
