Compensation & Hours:

  • The salary is expected to be $95K – $105K/yr.
  • This is a fulltime and permanent position

Operations || Human Resources || Safety

Position Summary:

  • Strategic HR planning, change management, organizational design, conflict resolution, and staff management
  • Training, evaluating, disciplining, and leading teams in multiple departments
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives regarding safety, quality, effectiveness, and costs; suggesting new techniques
  • Implementing safety policies, procedures, and manuals to ensure compliance with legislation, industry best practice, and to reduce workplace injuries and occupational diseases
  • Measuring and tracking KPI’s, implementing strategies to ensure alignment with the organization’s direction
  • Cultivating an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high performance
  • Assisting in planning the budget for equipment maintenance or replacements

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of previous experience in a management role
  • Post-Secondary education in Business Management, Human Resources, Trades, Engineering, etc.
  • Candidates will not be considered without a background in construction
  • Capable of wearing multiple hats with a hands-on approach to motivating and managing teams
  • Ability to bring individuals and initiatives together using well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Leadership style that promotes engagement and accountability within the values of the organization
  • Dedication to safety within the workplace
  • Competent in Microsoft Suite programs; Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Bonus Points:

  • Class 1 Driver’s License
  • NCSO Designation
