We are on the search for a professional General Manager to join our esteemed clients growing team. Our client a leader in the health and fitness industry for over 35 years. The General Manager blends business acumen and operational knowledge to drive business results while building a high-performing team. The successful candidate will be accountable for the achievement of operations, sales, and team retention. The General Manager will be committed to understanding the value of customer services ad value operational excellence.

Your success will be defined by your ability to:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, establishing production priorities, monitoring KPIs, reviewing organizational statistics and taking appropriate actions to achieve goals and targets
  • Analyze sales reports to identify and address trends and issues in team performance
  • Oversee sales objectives to support promotions and programs that maximize revenue
  • Continuously onboard, train and develop employees on sales processes and competencies by adhering to organizational policies and standards
  • Achieve positive net member growth by driving sales and executing on all established organizational member retention strategies
  • Proactively handle all member concerns and feedback via NPS, cancellation surveys and direct member inquiries
  • Develop and maintain strategic and operational plans for optimized productivity and maximize level of service
  • Review and improve organizational effectiveness by developing processes, overseeing employees, establishing a highly motivated work environment, and creating innovative approaches for improvement
  • Seek out networking opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new relationships
  • Review all member communication addressing all issues for resolution ensuring alignment with all best practices, policies and procedures
  • Foster and encourage a culture that strives to be energetic and fun, while striving for continuous improvement and success
  • Provide leadership in development of team communication and cohesiveness

Your strengths include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, an asset, plus related work experience, or equivalent
  • Proven experience in managerial role
  • Strong decision-making capabilities
  • Proven success in achieving monthly KPI’s and quotas
  • Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity
  • Able to deliver high level of interactive customer service
  • Driven to meet or exceed specific goals and objectives as quickly as possible; focused on results, leveraging resources available and solving problems creatively to get the job done.
