Job description: CALIFORNIA CLOSETS is a world-class brand that specializes in custom space design.

We are looking for an experienced shop worker to join our dedicated manufacturing team in our busy Burnaby shop.

You will be producing one-off designs that range from basic closets to high-end cabinetry for some of the finest homes in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland.

Shift times: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Monday through Friday + possible overtime. Starting wage: $17-$19/hr depending on qualifications.

QUALIFICATIONS

You are able to operate industrial wood-working equipment while in a standing position.

Skills on one or more of the following machines/workstations are an asset (if you have related experience please mention it in your application):

• Forklift (counterbalance, sit-down)
• Edge-bander
• Nester (CNC)
• Point to point (CNC)
• Table saw
• Automatic drill and dowel inserter (CNC)
• Shaker door assembly clamp
• Drawer box assembly clamp

You work well in a team and like being surrounded by quality individuals who care about the company they work for.

You appreciate a culture of respect, absent of bullies.

You can lift up to 50 pounds.
