Job description: Plant Manager – New Business

syncreon is looking for a dynamic individual who is ready to take on the exciting and rewarding challenge to be part of a startup operations team at a technology warehouse, we are opening at 15 Bramalea Road in Ontario Canada. In this position you will drive continuous improvement and optimization of all operations processes, working collaboratively across the Logistics network with all members of the management team as this new warehouse starts up to help develop a positive and production work environment at this site.

About the Role

How you will contribute

• Meet company objectives with respect to Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment.
• Direct, monitor, and accountable for the operating results of facility to ensure budget criteria, corporate policies and programs are achieved and customer requirements are met.
• Responsible for providing strategic guidance and leadership to direct and indirect reports to effectively oversee the daily routines of their assigned Team Members.
• Direct the development and implementation of internal procedures and controls required to ensure customer needs are achieved within budgetary goals.
• Establish standardized customer KPI and other performance metrics and ensure these metrics are communicated with the customer on an agreed upon schedule.
• Other duties as assigned.

Your Key Qualifications

• Position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. A college degree is preferred.
• Experience supervising in an automotive or logistics based industry.
• Proficiency in working with operations manager, staff and functional departments.
• Proficiency in working with customers and visitors.
• Ability to effectively train, teach and coach salary and hourly team members.
