Job Description

Bosch Rexroth Canada Corp. is looking for a Recent Graduate to join the team on a 18 – 24 month rotational program where you will be introduced to the company and go through a training program within numerous departments. This will expose you to the various processes that take place within Bosch Rexroth and you will gain real-world experience working within those departments over the course of the two-year program. You’ll have diverse work experiences and the chance to make very real contributions to the company while building the skills and networking needed to succeed within a company like Bosch Rexroth.

Rotation areas will include but is not limited to:

  • Inside Sales
  • Application Engineering
  • Service
  • Logistics
  • Production

At the end of the 18 – 24 month rotation, you will assume an Outside Account Development Manager role based out of our Burlington, Ontario office with a specific sales territory. As the Account Development Manager, you will be responsible for successfully promoting and value selling of Bosch Rexroth mechatronic, hydraulic and automation solutions, products and services into a defined territory. Duties and responsibilities include;

  • Utilizing value-selling techniques to understand our customers’ businesses and offer solutions that both enhance and improve our customers’ offering, ensuring Bosch Rexroth is a preferred business partner.
  • Effectively selling company products and services through planned and regular customer contact and field visits.
  • Proposing technical system solutions to customers as required.
  • Negotiating contracts and reviewing commercial terms and conditions in line with agreed discount and margin rules and preparing detailed quotations and specifications ensuring customer requirements are fulfilled
  • Ensuring timely documenting of relevant data by organizing and maintaining customer interaction within the companies CRM system, ROBIN. (e.g. customer contact details, company information, visit reporting, opportunity management etc.) in line with minimum expectations of use.
  • Producing and developing business information monthly reports to support department controls and performance improvements in line with company standards and reporting requirements
  • Collaborating regularly with other members of the team, department and business to ensure rapid two-way flow of information and contribution to effective teamwork.
  • Working at all levels with existing and prospective customers to understand their business and identify their future business plans, ensuring Bosch Rexroth is the best possible partner to support their future needs.

Qualifications

  • University Graduate from an Engineer program (Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics) Degree Program
  • 1-2 years of experience (coop placement or other) in an engineering, sales or office environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs, SAP knowledge will be considered an asset
  • Influential communicator, self-starter, dynamic, assertive, empathetic, focused, responsible and optimistic
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities
  • Willing to take ownership of your responsibilities and a strategic planner with excellent self-management traits
  • Organized and able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced environment

Experience/skills

  • Bachelor degree completed/in progress or above in finance or business.
  • Strong analytic mindset.
  • Experience in controlling is preferred.
  • Strong communications skills
  • Self-motivated and pro-active
  • Team player with the willingness to work in a flexible and challenging environment
  • Advanced computer skills for MS office, especially Excel and Power Point
  • SAP knowledge is an asset
