MaxYield Cooperative is a leading agricultural cooperative based in West Bend providing innovative solutions to our clients in Northwest and North Central Iowa. We’re seeking the right individual to join our team as a Grain Origination Trainee. You will be responsible for contacting existing and potential clients via outbound phone and face-to-face on-the-farm sales calls. To facilitate learning, you will be assigned a mentor who will help you to learn markets, commodities, risk management and all facets of MaxYield Cooperative. Upon successful completion of your 8 to 12-month education and training plan in West Bend, you will be assigned your origination territory within MaxYield’s trade area.

It is important that you are team-oriented, have proficient computer skills that includes proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. We don’t require that you are an “expert” at all things grain on the first day, but we do want you to have a strong willingness to learn! You must also possess strong communication, leadership and networking skills. You must have or be working towards a 2-year or 4-year college degree in ag business, ag studies, or related area.
