The position that we are looking to fill will join our cyber security team that oversees the cyber maturity, governance, risk management and compliance (GRC) state of our group of businesses (and there is quite a few) no matter their industry, size, or complexity.

We are a small team with a broad remit, and we are looking for an experienced GRC specialist to join the crew. This is a senior position, and so you must be comfortable identifying, justifying, shaping and driving forward multiple GRC projects, autonomously.

You will have experience of designing, building and deploying GRC solutions including Assessments, Audits, Issues, Risk, Attestations, and associated Integrations, as well as maintaining administrative oversight. You will have the capability to identify key risk and performance indicators and to deliver management information on IT or security program performance to various stakeholders.

Job Description:

We are looking for a talented GRC solutions architect with a rock-solid understanding of all thing’s GRC, an inquisitive analytical mindset along with a can-do attitude and the experience to back it up. The GRC Senior Solution Architect role will allow you to gain unique experience working in a multi-organizational environment that is driving toward technological innovation in the risk, compliance, and cyber security domains. As a Senior Solution Architect at Volaris Group, you will work closely with the internal stakeholders across the organization as well as be the conduit to the GRC product’s engineering and customer success teams to help champion our requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) in all things GRC and will run the program, and therefore also provide advice & guidance as required
• You will be knowledgeable in various security and privacy frameworks – sufficient enough to advise & guide others

• Examples include: GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI, ISO 27001, SOC II, NIST 800-53
• Enhance and improve risk management oversight
• Updating key business stakeholders of risk and non-conformance, and provide advise and guidance to mitigate
• Defining the applicable assessment and cadence for different markets and risk profiles
• Support VBU’s through product demos and technical discussions with key stakeholders
• Fielding support requests from users via in-app chat requests, emails, and meetings
• Driving the corporate GRC initiatives through to completion
• Assisting businesses (VBU’s) overcome any challenges they encounter in their GRC journey
• Leading client onboarding and enablement calls with new customers
• Host live training sessions for customers
• Feeding customer issues back to the product and engineering teams
• Updating users on new features, enhancements, and bug fixes
• Integrating security toolset API’s in to the GRC toolset

We are looking for people who…

• Have managed a GRC service previously, (very desirable) or
• Have multiple years’ experience of customer support/success in the GRC space (preferably 6Clicks)
• Have a background in IT and/or Information Security and/or Data Privacy (very desirable)
• Have used scripting languages to automate repetitive/integration tasks (e.g. Javascript, Python, Ruby, PHP)
• Have a keen interest in technology and applying intelligent solutions to difficult challenges
• Have solid communication skills including both verbal and writing skills
• Is happy to work in a fast-moving environment with hard deadlines
• Is a team player that can also take an idea and run with it solo, while ascertaining feedback from the appropriate stakeholders when required
• Enjoys a good laugh 😊

Key Selection Criteria

• 3-5 years’ experience in GRC product solutions, and/or GRC customer support
• 3-5 years’ experience in an IT/Information Security or Data Privacy related role
• Automation and integration skills
• Exceptional ability to effectively communicate and foster positive business relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience, or demonstrable skill working with technology, including integrations
• Strong organizational and time management skills, ability to self-organize and deliver results efficiently and effectively across many clients is a must
• Demonstrable strong verbal and written communication skills. This is essential!
• Ability to establish and deliver on milestones with little direction
• Experience, or demonstrable skill, in uplifting processes
• Deep ability to relate to people, understand needs and align with solutions
