Location: Montreal

Our client, a company specialized in the agri-food sector, is looking for a Health and Safety Advisor !

– Salary up to $73K depending on experience

Your profile?
– Bilingual with effective communication skills to deal with employees elsewhere in Canada and the United States
– 2 to 3 years of experience in health and safety
– On-site experience in the production facility (food industry)
– Experience in developing procedures and manuals
Your role?
– Visit daily the factory/production area for quality control
– Prepare and conduct risk analyses, understanding conditions of hazards, and associated risks
– Verify basic ergonomics in certain work areas
– Prepare weekly safety topics (Safety Breaks)
– Provide employee training on various safety-related topics (mainly lockout/tagout, forklift and pedestrian safety, confined spaces, safety guards, driving safety, working at heights)
– Monitor progress on safety updates
– Participate in the Occupational Health and Safety Committee
– Lead and participate in safety and maintenance programs
– Execute other related tasks
