Job Summary

The Health and Safety/Logistics Coordinator will contribute to the ongoing improvement of Health and Safety systems along with completing all tasks related to logistics.

Now, if you were to come on board as one of our Health and Safety/Logistics Coordinator, we would ask you to do the following for us:

• Responsible for all H&S training on site for associates along with logistics and administrative tasks.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of Health and Safety system through regular review, development and implementation.
• Schedule and deliver health and safety training, modeling the companies’ Health and Safety management system and programs.
• Respond to incidents, injuries and illnesses as required while conducting thorough investigations, providing, and monitoring detailed corrective actions.
• Report health and safety deficiencies to operations, senior management and other supports as needed.
• Ensure sub-contractor H & S policy compliance.
• Manage the Grounds Line for special cuts.
• Administer tickets for radio equipment, Fleets, Building and Inventory
• Administer fuel dips/ordering fuel.
• Must be capable to work within a refinery setting, wear specified FR clothing and PPE.
• Respond to client requests/inquiries.

• 1 to 2 years’ experience in Health and Safety.
• Post-secondary education in Health and Safety or equivalent experience desired.
• 3 years administrative experience.
• Work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• Work under pressure and meet deadlines in an ever-changing environment required.
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
• Strong experience with Excel and other Microsoft office programs.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
