Job description: Position Purpose:

The Whitchurch-Stouffville Museum & Community Centre is accepting applications for Historical Interpreters. This position provides casual employment, based on program bookings and the event schedule. This position will require working weekdays, weekends, & occasional evenings. Duties include facilitating curriculum-based education programs for school-age children, conducting engaging tours through the Museum’s restored heritage buildings for casual visitors and organized groups; assisting with the delivery of hands-on outreach programs and events; demonstrating heritage crafts; assisting with preparing museum buildings and materials for programs & events; ensuring the preservation of the Museum’s Collection through proper handling techniques; and other duties as assigned.
