Job Summary:

The Zenabis HVAC / Refrigeration Technician will be well versed in all aspects of refrigeration, forced air and hydronic heating and cooling. The position includes performing duties for various trades including heating, cooling, and indoor air quality. Duties may also include general sheet metal labor and chiller plant operation at our facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Install, repair and ongoing maintenance of air handlers, filter systems and chiller plants

Preventative maintenance of heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration equipment, as well as accessories, in accordance with company requirements and manufacture specifications

Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC system faults

Cleaning, adjusting, repairing systems, and performing warranty services.

Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.

Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.

Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.

Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.

Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.

Maintenance pf indoor air quality products. (Charcoal, UV and bio filters)

Ensuring company property, vehicles, and tools are being properly used, maintained, and accounted for

As needed or required, completes all paperwork in a neat, accurate, thorough, and timely manner

Represents the company professionally, honestly, and ethically in all business matters and concerns

Performs similar/other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications:

Would be beneficial to have a valid Gas Fitter A or B license

Must have a valid Refrigeration license

Must have CFC Permit (ozone depletion)

Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract maintained

Must have a minimum of 2 years recent relevant HVAC industry field experience

Must be physically able to perform heavy lifting as per the Physical Demands Analysis (to be provided)

Must have the ability to operate all necessary tools and equipment related to servicing HVAC equipment

Control Related experience is beneficial

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude

Proven commitment to the delivery of customer-focused service.

Excellent written and verbal communications

Exceptional interpersonal skills

Able to work with minimal supervision

Result oriented, achieving high levels of individual and team performance.

Salary: Commensurate with experience and qualifications

Security Clearance: Security Clearance may be required for this position.

Working Hours: Full-Time, Shift and weekend work may be necessary.

Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 25lbs minimum; long hours of standing may be required.
