Summary:

The Infrastructure Analyst is expected to maintain technology systems and troubleshoot any issues related to the systems or underlying/supporting technologies. Once identified, the Infrastructure Analyst works to correct any issues, ensure proper function and mitigate future issues. The incumbent will also work with Engineers to ensure proper implementation of new technology.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and resolve escalated infrastructure issues •Perform root cause analysis
  • Establish uses, and support integration and communications among applications, databases and technology platforms
  • Works with Infrastructure team to assist in implementation of new technology •Adhere to, and administer company technology practices, standards and procedures
  • Assist in the assessment and documentation of business opportunities, benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications
  • Elicit and clearly define and document customer needs and associated requirements •Maintain system documentation
  • Analyze a variety of work processes and associated document and information flow •Ensure all issues/requests are handle within appropriate SLA
  • Troubleshoot and correct escalated service problems regarding stores and end users
  • Perform work requiring initiative and considerable judgment within established policies •Document changes and updates as required
  • May act as an informal team leader providing assistance to peers in resolving non-routine problems. •May have to respond to requests after hours and on weekends
  • May mentor less experienced infrastructure analysts

Education, Experience, and Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, a Science or equivalent experience
  • 4+ Years of Experience:

  • Time management – Demonstrates efficiency and persistence, managing own time and ensuring

engagement deadlines and objectives are met

  • Communication – Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive and accurately interpret ideas, information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. This includes the ability to describe or explain complex processes and issues in a concise manner
  • Critical thinking – Understanding of the issues related to the decision-making process; ability to analyze situations fully and accurately, and reach productive decisions
  • Strong vendor relationship, procurement, asset management skills
  • Must possess and demonstrate strong organizational and prioritization skills •Must be able to work well within a team in addition to being a self-starter
  • Must also build and maintain a strong rapport with other Technology Associates
  • Must have a working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel
  • Extensive working knowledge of PCs, Servers, Operating Systems, Hyper-V, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager / Systems Center Configuration Manager, PowerShell, and network communication protocols including TCP/IP
  • Experience with Windows updates and vulnerability remediation
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network, compute, and storage problems for both cloud and on-prem systems
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks, make decisions and solve problems while under pressure •Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, busy, and noisy environment while meeting deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and troubleshooting skills •Strong work ethic, and organizational skills
  • CompTia A+, Network+, Cloud+, Server+, Security+ certifications (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator Associate / Endpoint Administrator Associate certification (Preferred)
