Job description: Our Calgary-based client is looking for a Intermediate Business Analyst to work on the strategy for a business transformation project within an IT/OT environment.
Please note– this role is a remote opportunity and candidates can work from anywhere in Canada.
Must Haves:
- Business Analyst with 5 years of Business Analysis or other equivalent strategic planning competencies.
- A background from one of the IT consulting firms (Deloitte, Accenture, IBM etc.) with a Bachelor’s or post-graduate degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or equivalent experience.
- Experience with IT technologies including industrial networking, software development, control systems, cyber security, industrial embedded hardware strongly desired.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (O365), SharePoint (Online), Visio, Teams.
Nice to Haves:
- Industrial infrastructure experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of BABOK (Business Analysis Body of Knowledge) is an asset.
- Knowledge of TOGAF Exploration & Mining Business Capability Models and their use in digital strategy development is considered an asset.
- Mining industry experience is nice to have, specifically a SME in industrial wireless networks.
