Job description: Our valued Public Sector Client is seeking a Secret Cleared Intermediate Materials Management Specialist to preform logistics/supply management support within an Enterprise Management System.
- Assist in the development of procurement planning;
- Liaise and respond to inquiries from clients/units/bases and various other stakeholders.
- Perform logistics/supply management support, including but not limited to; Storage Transfer Orders, monitoring of inventory levels and approving the release of stocked items;
- Manage all related supply documents within the DRMIS and RDIMS;
- Perform material management activities, including inventory management, ordering/ movement of material and supply services as directed by the Supply Administration Manual (SAM).
- Preparing supply requisition documents: DRMIS transaction ME5A: Purchase requisition list, on supply matters requiring procurement.
- Planning and implementing material provisioning and distribution between the main DND depots;
- Monitoring usage of materiel and adjust the disposition of the materiel: by reviewing demands for controlled material via DRMIS transactions.
- Establishing Dues-in in the Materiel Management System of Record to allow timely receipting at the Depots or other designated locations, making the materiel readily available;
- Process stock movements within the bases and depots for all CAF;
- Verify establishment levels for bases and units prior to release of stock to monitor and control stock movement;
- Respond to inquiries from the CAF for information about material, material movement, supply of material, and status of orders within DRMIS;
- Providing recommendation to the Technical Authority about distribution, disposal and repair forecasts; via an annual check of all material under the Technical Authority’s authority.
- Planning and coordinating procurement activities including financial estimates, business requirements and contracting options (project procurement management, cost and estimate Management, sole source versus RFP process,);
- Preparing draft selection methodologies, evaluation plans, evaluation criteria (mandatory and point rated) and evaluation schedules for procurement;
- Developing and implementing procurement control, monitoring of system contract delivery and continuing service delivery and reporting procedures and managing changes;
- Leading or participating in negotiations and developing procurement process and/or business process maps;
